In the last twenty years of my life, I’ve worked as a designer, a researcher, and an artist. In 2015, I made the most difficult decision of my life and became a full-time artist. My education and experiences built a profound theoretical foundation for my artwork. The ideas for my work come from a combination of what I’ve read and learned, the situation I grew up in, and the political and social strings I am attached to. In a word, it emerged from my lived experience.
